Bomet University College School of Business and Entrepreneurship Admission Requirements

Bachelor of Business Management (BBM)

Admission Requirements into this Program are:

At least a mean grade of C+ (Plus) and a C (Plain) in both Mathematics and English Language in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) OR At least two principal passes and one subsidiary pass in Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE) plus at least a pass in Mathematics and English at “O” Level OR Be a holder of a Diploma in Business Studies validated by Commission for University OR Be a holder of a professional certificate in business studies recognized by CUE.

Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management (BSc. HRM)

Admission Requirements into this Program are:

At least a mean grade of C+(Plus) at KCSE or equivalent qualification recognized by Bomet University College and a C+(Plus) in English, OR Diploma in Human Resource Management, Project Planning and Management, Entrepreneurship, Economic/Agricultural Economics, Business Management or any other Business/ Management related course recognised by Bomet University College OR At least two principles at “A” Level with Art Subjects. OR admission may also be granted to candidates with alternative qualifications approved by Bomet University College.

Bachelor of Science in Project Planning and Management (BSc. PPM)

Admission requirements into this Program are:

At least a mean grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE or equivalent qualification recognised by Bomet University College. OR Diploma in Project Planning and Management, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Economic/Agricultural Economics, Business Management, or any other Business/ Management related course recognized by Bomet University College. OR At least two Principals at “A” Levels with Art Subjects. OR Be a holder of a Professional Certificate in Business Studies Recognized by CUE.

Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics

Admission Requirements into this Program are:

At least a mean grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE and at least C (Plain) in English or Kiswahili and C+ in Mathematics. OR At least 2 principal passes and one subsidiary in Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education plus at least a pass in English and Mathematics at “O” Level. OR A holder of Diploma in Economics or Business related field.

Bomet University College School of Arts & Social Sciences Admission Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Communication and Public Relations

Admission requirements: A minimum of Grade C+ (Plus) at KCSE and C+ in English/Kiswahili; OR Two Principals and One Subsidiary Pass at “A” level; OR a Diploma in a related discipline from a recognized Institution.

Bachelor of Arts in Geography

Admission requirements: A minimum of Grade C+ (Plus) at KCSE; OR Two Principals and One Subsidiary Pass at “A” level; OR a Diploma in a related discipline from a recognized Institution.

Bachelor of Arts in Economics

Admission requirements: A minimum of Grade of C + (Plus) at KCSE and at least C (Plain) in English/Kiswahili, Mathematics or Business studies; OR Two Principals and One Subsidiary Pass at “A” level; OR a Diploma in Development related field from a recognized institution.

Bachelor of Arts with Education

Admission requirements: A minimum of Grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE, C (Plain) in English/Kiswahili and C+ (Plus) in the two teaching subjects; OR Two Principals and One Subsidiary Pass at “A” level; OR a Diploma in a related discipline from a recognized institution.

Bachelor of Arts in Kiswahili

Admission requirements: A minimum of Grade C+ (Plus) at KCSE; OR Two Principals and One Subsidiary Pass at “A” level; OR a Diploma in a related discipline from a recognized Institution.

Bachelor of Arts (General)

Admission requirements: A minimum of Grade C+ (Plus) at KCSE, a C+ (Plus) in either Religious Education/History and Government/Geography; OR Two Principals and One Subsidiary Pass at “A” level; OR a Diploma in a related discipline from a recognized Institution. Students in the BA General programme may select one of the following Degree clusters (either BA Religion, or BA Anthropology, or BA History).

Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements: A minimum of Grade C+(Plus) at KCSE with a C + (Plus) in History and Government/Geography/Religious Education; OR Two Principals and One Subsidiary Pass at “A” level; OR a Diploma in Public Administration, Diplomacy or International Relations from a recognized institution.

Diploma in Public Relations

Admission requirements: A minimum of Grade C (Plain) at KCSE with at least a C (Plain) in English/Kiswahili.
